The PetFinder LR is Lintek’s new long range radio frequency based tracker.  It is the perfect proximity alarm and tracker for small pets; designed to ensure that you know the moment your beloved pet strays too far from home; providing peace of mind in knowing that you can quickly locate them if they do.

The system’s tags easily attachment to a cat or dog collar.  However, the unit is not limited only to use with pets; they can be attached to virtually anything.  The tag’s alarm can be variably set to trigger at distances of approximately 50 metres and 100 metres while the tag’s signal can be tracked at a range of up to 300 metresvia the PetFinder’s tracking remote.

The New PetFinder LR is a Radio Frequency based tracker consisting of a remote unit and a transmitter tag that easily attaches onto your pet’s collar.  Finding your pet couldn’t be easier!

With proximity alarm as a standard feature you will be alerted before your pet strays too far.  In the unfortunate case of losing sight of your pet, the PetFinder LR can help track your pet within a range of up to 300 metres.  When searching for your lost pet, simply start walking around the areas you feel your pet might have wandered to and allow the PetFinder remote unit to help you walk the right direction.  The closer you get to your pet, the faster and higher pitched the PetFinder remote will sound.  If you are out of range, simply keep walking to different areas, if within the 300m range it will re-connect.

The tracking remote offers you one simple button which you can press to track your pet. Hold to mute the remote and find your pet by the subtle beeps coming from the tag on their collar when they are out of sight.

All new RF technology - Using the latest Digital RF technology, the PetFinder can initiate a proximity alarm detecting the distance (50m and 100m settings) between the tag and the remote triggering an alarm in both units.  This alerts the pet owner to check the location of their pet.  This can also be used to train dogs to stop when the transmitter beeps.

Proximity Alarm Feature - With two proximity alarm distance settings to choose from, you are able to set either 50 metres or 100 metres.  (+/- 10m depending on surroundings) When your pet wanders away past the selected distance alert setting, your remote will activate a warning alarm alerting you to check your pet’s location.

Smart Distance & Direction Indication - The tracking remote can search for the tag within a range of up to 300 metres (this distance may cut short if there are concrete or aluminum buildings in between).  The distance detection is conveyed by LEDs and sound rhythms.  The closer the tracking remote approaches the tag, the faster the beat of sound with a green light suggesting the correct direction of the tag.

Small Transmitter Size - The tag unit is shaped with no sharp edges to injure your pet and includes a splash proof silicone casing for easy fastening onto most small collars.  A Velcro strap is provided for larger collars.

Sleep Mode - The PetFinder can be switched to “Sleep Mode” when the alarm function is not needed to give longer lasting battery life.

Water Splash Resistant Case - A water splash resistant silicone case is included to protect the tag unit from moisture and dirt.

Long Battery Life - Battery life in “Sleep Mode” is over 90 days.  Battery life in Standby Mode is over 50 days.  Battery life is based on 8 hour per day use.  Note: Search and Alarm functions decrease battery life.

RF Interference Prevention - The Special Data Encryption (SDE) on the RF data transmission allows for up to 65,535 devices to be used in proximity.

Important note:
Tracking range will vary depending on surrounding environment.  Concrete walls, aluminium sheets etc can cause interference to Radio Frequency signals.  In most cases the best way to track down your pet with thePetFinder LR is by listening for the beeping emitted by the tag.  Direct line of sight between remote and tag works up to 300 metres but tests in heavily built city areas show maximum reliability of 200-250 metres.
